By Toni Garcia, Publisher & Editor November 1, 2017

Hey Macaroni! First off, if you are new to our newsletter (and I know about 200+ of you are...) then WELCOME!

Let's Get Started! Wow... I sat down this morning and November is here. Poof! Just like that. How did that happen and where did the time go? Whether we like it or not, the year is almost over and something very important is sitting on our door steps this week! It's time to vote! There are a number of important issues on the ballot this year so take a few extra minutes to educate yourself on the topics at hand.

City of Brighton Elections - Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Citizens that prefer to mail in their ballots should be sure they are stamped and sent off no later than November 4th. Should you want to go into a center and do it, there are six locations. More and complete information can be found on the cities website here.

How Do You Holiday? Every year I do something special for myself for the holidays. In the past I've packed lunches for the homeless, wrapped blankets for shelters, collected warm-weather clothes for those in need, raised thousands through silent auctions and more. I try my best to get involved with a local non-profit or charitable organization to help support their efforts throughout the year and holiday season. This is my gift to myself. But.... this year has been crazy and this year is the first that I have yet to make a decision on which one (or ones) to support. So, I'm asking you! Please help me! If you have an idea of an excellent and local organization that could use some support with advertising, spreading the word, and well, just creating a buzz... please email me at tonig@macaronikid.com with their name, description, link to website and your connection to them... and of course, why we should work together. AND, if you want to be a part of it, that's amazing and I hope to hear from  you very, very soon.

Ninja Party Time - In case you missed it, we announced our winner for the Birthday Party Package from Ninja Party Time but if you still want to book something with them, as an exclusive discount through Macaroni Kid, you receive a 20% discount for the next year! Ninja Party Time will bring the obstacles to you! Kids birthdays are always a hit and what do we love more than to watch kids get active and run around and play?!
