Get your fishing pole ready for the eleventh annual Fishing Frenzy Derby, a free kids fishing derby Saturday, April 7, at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. Children ages 3-15 and their parents are invited to this event, featuring two fishing derbies, prizes and crafts.
Along with derby competition, young anglers can learn fishing skills from the professional sportsmen at Bass Pro Shops. Bring your own fishing poles and lures if you have them. Advance registration is recommended as this family-oriented event typically attracts 500 to 600 participants each year and space may fill up prior to the event.
