Saint Patrick's Day Fun

By Aretta Gallegos March 12, 2019

With St. Patrick's Day only a week away, we have gathered a few crafty things you can do with your kiddos

Paper Plate Shamrock Hats-

Items you will need:

Paper Plates

Scissors

Green Paint

Glitter

Instructions:

Fold the plate in half and begin to cut the hole for the head (don't forget to leave a part for the design, the design will remain attached at the brim)

Keep the plate folded in half and cut a symmetrical shamrock leaf.

Once you are done, open it up and decorate it.

Shamrock Pretzel Snack Bites-

Items you will need:

  • 1 bag of plain M&M’s (have your child help you sort all the green ones out for this treat)
  • 1 bag of mini pretzels
  • 1 bag of rolos
  • parchment paper
  • baking sheet

Directions
1. Preheat your oven for 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Add a Rolo in the center of each of your pretzel. Gently take your cookie sheet over to your oven and slide your cookie sheet into the oven. Bake for 3 minutes, or until the Rolo has just begun to melt.

3. Pull out the cookie sheet and carefully carefully place an M&M in the center. It’s important to do this step while they are still warm, as these harden quickly once they cool.
4. Allow them to cool fully before removing from the cookie sheet and carefully peel them off of the parchment paper.

Fruit Loop Rainbow Necklace

Fruit Loop Cereal
Yarn
Masking Tape

  3. Tie the ends of the yarn together and you are all set.
