Looking to beat the heat this summer? ️️
Take a drive down Highway 52 to Clem Dufour Park in Dacono. My family and I decided to check it recently and my kids have already decided it's the best part of summer! The park boasts a large splash pad suitable for all ages-from small fountains for the small tots to water shooters and rain falls for the older children. My kids' favorite? The giant barrel right in the center that periodically gushes gallons of water, soaking all who are nearby!
We also enjoyed the two playgrounds in the vicinity. One playground was the perfect size for my preschooler with the toddler swings, the horse seesaws, and the miniature climbing area.
The older kids appreciated the larger structure, with the multiple slides, climbing poles, and bridges. They even organized a rowdy game of "groundies" with the other children visiting the park.
We ended our morning adventure with lunch at the shaded picnic tables located in between the splash pad and the playgrounds. The park also contains women's, men's, and family restrooms-a must-have for families with children!
Needless to say, we will be frequently visiting Clem Dufour Park to cool off this summer!
