5 Great Parks and Playgrounds in Brighton, Colorado

We are lucky in Brighton to have so many great playgrounds and parks to explore. From swings to slides, to climbing walls and water features, Brighton's parks and playgrounds keep my kids active, are a great place to meet old friends (and make new friends!), and they're FREE!

I often get asked what our favorite playgrounds are, so I thought I'd share here with you my family's picks for some of our top playgrounds and parks to visit in Brighton.




Footprint Park

What we love about Footprint Park: 

Footprint Park is a xeriscape park, so my children love to climb through the tree log tunnels and scale the large rocks. This park also features a splash area, which is perfect on hot summer days.

Veterans Park

Veterans Park is dedicated to the veterans of Brighton. The park features large slides, swings, and a trails near the water.

Montoya Park is the perfect park to bring a picnic and plan to spend the day. Between the playground, fields, and basketball court, there is plenty to keep the family occupied!

Benedict Park

What we love about Benedict Park: 

Benedict Park is one of our favorite parks! We love to take a hike around the trails, cool off in the splash area, and run off some energy at the playground. The park also has a skating area, horseshoe pit, soccer field, and disc golf area.

Farmer's Park

What we love about Farmer's Park: 

Farmer's Park has two playground areas, one for younger tots and one for older children. The adjoining field is perfect to throw a frisbee, play a rousing game of freeze-tag, and bring a soccer ball to kick around.
